Privacy policy

What AquaWise collects through aquawise.ai, what we use it for, where it is kept, and how you can see, correct or delete it.

What we collect

This website collects personal data only when you send a message through the contact form, and only the fields you fill in.

  • The topic you choose, your name, farm or organisation, province and number of ponds
  • How to reach you: phone, LINE ID or email
  • The message you write to the team
  • The language and page you sent it from, your browser type, and a one-way code derived from your IP address, used only to block repeat submissions and spam. We do not store your IP address.

What we use it for

  • Replying to your enquiry
  • Reviewing your pilot application and arranging next steps, if you apply
  • Blocking repeat submissions and spam

We never sell your data, never pass it on for advertising, and never combine it with other data to build a profile of you.

Legal basis

We use this data based on the consent you give when you send the form, under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

Who sees it and where it is kept

The data controller is AquaWise, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330. Only the AquaWise team members who handle enquiries can read your message. It is stored in a database that only our own back end can reach, and the team gets an email each time a new message arrives.

We use service providers that process data on our behalf: Vercel hosts the website, Supabase hosts the database and Resend sends the notification emails. They may store data on servers outside Thailand and may use it only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep it only as long as we need it to talk and work with you on what you contacted us about, then delete it, or sooner if you ask.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to stop using it, or withdraw your consent. Message the team on LINE @aquawise or through the contact form with the topic Something else, and we will reply within 30 days.

If you think we have used your data wrongly, you can complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

Cookies and usage statistics

The main website pages use no cookies and no ads, and do not count usage, except the Early Farm Program page (aquawise.ai/early) and the calculators (aquawise.ai/tools), as described below.

The Early Farm Program page (aquawise.ai/early) counts usage anonymously: page opens, button taps, which parts of the page were seen, and whether the form was started, sent or hit an error. It uses a random ID kept in your browser that changes every 180 days. These counts contain no name, phone number, LINE ID or form answers, and are not linked to what you send through the form. We use them to see which parts of the page help farmers.

The calculators at aquawise.ai/tools count usage anonymously, such as which tool was opened and the values used in a calculation, using a random ID kept in your browser. They never store names, contact details or anything you type as free text.

Both also record general context: screen size, network type, time zone, how you arrived (for example the link or QR code you opened), and an approximate country, province or city that our hosting provider derives from the network. We do not store your IP address.

To opt out, block the usage-counting script (aw-analytics.js) or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. Clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes the random ID.

Scope and changes

This policy covers the aquawise.ai website and its contact form. When it changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
